Protecting plants on a windy spot

RHS Garden Hyde Hall stands proudly a top a very windy hill in Essex. It can also be a bit cold, meaning that some of the plants need more protection from the elements. Depending on their size they can be protected in the borders, whilst smaller plants are brought into the greenhouse as Heather Cutmore explained to Ken Crowther.
