David Hurrion is designing a raised bed garden for BBC Gardeners’ World Live Autumn Fair

Design drawing for a raised bed garden at BBC Gardeners' World Live.

BBC Gardeners’ World Live Autumn Fair is coming to Essex and will be staged in association with English Heritage at Audley End House and Gardens at the end of August (30 August – 1 September 2024).

David Hurrion is the writer behind The Raised Bed Book and he will be designing a set of raised beds with different planting ideas for display as a showcase garden at the show.

Designed by David exclusively for the BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair, The Raised Bed Revealed Showcase Garden will feature raised beds at different heights for standard, wheelchair and standing height gardening.

David says: “The Raised Bed Revealed will bring to life some of the ways in which gardeners can elevate their growing which my new book lifts the lid on! Whether it’s making bespoke raised structures to suit your growing needs, keeping the soil in tip top health, tailoring growing conditions to suit the plants you want to grow, or making room for wildlife, there will be plenty to inspire your own designs at home.”
